Kristy at Best Day Ever! Wedding Services has been our angel throughout our wedding planning journey.We were initially going to get married on October 10, 2020. We originally hired Kristy to help us plan that wedding as well as have her be our day of coordinator for that day. I contacted her about 11 months our from my wedding because I was just overwhelmed. I had all the pieces but had no idea how to put them all together and make them work how I wanted. She came in and within days I was already feeling more relaxed and like it was all going to work. within a few months we had gotten all of the main details worked out and our puzzle was coming together. Then a global pandemic hit. In March we figured everything would be fine come August let alone October. We were wrong and on September 10 we finally called it. Kristy helped us through contacting all of our vendors and rescheduling a basically completely planned wedding. We decided to keep the big wedding completely as it was and just move it to a new date in which Kristy will still be our DOC, but we still wanted to get married this October. However, my uncle who was going to be our officiant was unable to travel due to COVID restrictions. Kristy saved the day again. I was worried that the ceremony wouldn’t be personal, that someones name would be said incorrectly, basically that it wouldn’t feel like our wedding but instead a cookie cutter script with our names pasted into blanks. I was wrong, again. Kristy wrote a ceremony that fit our personality, our relationship, our family, and our love for one another. It went perfectly with our handwritten vows ( that she also proof read to make sure they went well with the other persons!) and there were very few dry eyes throughout the entire ceremony. She brought the focus from a stress and disappointment of changed plans back to what it should be: our love for one another. She was amazing and I can’t say enough nice or positive words about her. I can’t wait for all of our guests to see her in action as out DOC next year!
